Teaching goals (program content, subject description) |
DIPLOMA PROJECT A year-long task whose goal is to carry out a design task that is a solution to the project problem formulated by itself. Project Work aimed at presenting the mastery of skills: original, own artistic expression; conscious use of a specialist workshop; creative search for solutions to obtain individual project realizations that meet the assumed ergonomic, functional, formal and artistic requirements. Scope of the task: The design documentation of the design process (design assumptions, conceptual sketches, pictures of mock-ups, basic design and photo or visualization of the completed piece of furniture) should be presented on a 100 × 50 cm (horizontal) format board. * Technical documentation, depending on the needs and its purpose and character, can be a set of views and sections on a 1: 1 scale, A4 format notebook, containing assembly and executive drawings of elements in 1: 1 scale, or a set of executive drawings prepared for specific device. |

Description of the requirements for the studio, workshop or teaching aids |
Equipment of the workshop in which the classes are conducted: The implementation of the program in terms of technology and technology is based mainly on the possibilities of departmental workshops: carpentry modeling and modeling of different techniques. Documentary and presentation projects are created in cooperation with faculty photographic and computer studios (access to computers equipped with graphic and CAD software). |
