Knowledge in the field of:
• physics, structure and material structure of a residential building
• technical structure of a small residential building
• graphic markings on technical drawings, proper use of technical drawings in the process of creating project documentation
• stages of design and participation of interior designers in this process
• available building materials and systems - constructional, installation - used in single-family housing
• building materials in the building structure and its interiors - the ability to choose material as a design component
• recognition of correct technical solutions in the field of construction and installation

Presence at lectures
Regularity and activity of participation in corrections
Evaluation of the project work - presented in a given form and graphic technique - and its substantive values - according to the scale of assessments included in the Study Regulations.

Teaching goals (program content, subject description)
|
The teaching program aims to:
• acquisition of knowledge in the field of physics, structure and material structure of a residential building necessary for the design of a living space.
• obtaining the ability to prepare project documentation in accordance with the standards and applicable regulations as well as the rules of the art of construction.
• getting to know the design process - its individual stages based on the design of a residential house,
• ability to present spatial ideas in the form of construction drawings, as well as effective use of technical means to achieve the intended aesthetic effects.
Program content:
- repeating information about installations in the building;
- media connections to the building;
- selected issues in construction law and construction standards relating to interior design issues;
- graphic standards and markings on drawings;
- project phase: concept, construction project, detailed design;
- scales, type of drawings, valuation, supervision, building permits, collections;
- building and geometric rules for stair design;
- technical details of elements in small architecture, fences;
- technical conditions for the adaptation of buildings;
- technical solutions of detail in contemporary architecture;
- construction iron;
- saunas: location, dimensions, requirements, materials;
- fireplaces;
- roof architecture - dormers, skylights, roof windows;
- energy-saving technologies;
- new materials and technologies in interior design;
- preparation of technical drawings and description in the scope of own project

K_W03 The graduate knows and understands the basic scope of issues related to construction, implementation techniques, materials science, and other specialist issues relevant to interior architecture, appropriate for the chosen specialty;
K_W04 A graduate knows and understands the basic issues of art workshop in interior design and various techniques for project presentation, including 2D and 3D computer techniques
K_W08 The graduate knows and understands the issues related to technologies used in the art discipline of design art (in the overall approach) and technological development related to the selected specialty.
