Efficient drawing skills in CAD programs. Full knowledge of the principles of technical drawing, symbols and graphic markings on construction and technical drawings. Ability to perform freehand technical sketches. Well-established knowledge of interior design, connection methods, interior finishing materials. Orientation in legal regulations essential for interior design, technical and normative requirements.

Final requirements

Skillful application of knowledge in the field of interior design in the solutions adopted in the course project. Classes are focused on gaining the ability to independently analyze the technical conditions of the exchange project. Independent development of interior design, furniture or technical details selected as the most important in the project. Strengthening the ability to choose optimal technical solutions that take into account economic, assembly, transport and technological factors.

The form of passing the course (assesment methods and criteria)

Credit with grade.

Presentation of the semester project assessed by division:
1. Assessment of the technical and technical level of the work performed 80%
2. Assessment of the degree of involvement and independence of 10%
3. Assessment of the level of presentation 10%

The lecture aims to explain the purpose and method of completing a semester task

K_U01 A graduate can use his knowledge - formulate and solve complex and unusual problems and innovatively perform tasks in unpredictable conditions by:
- proper selection of sources and information from them, evaluation, critical analysis, synthesis and creative interpretation and presentation of this information,
- selection and application of appropriate methods and tools, including advanced information and communication technologies (ICT)
K_U05 The graduate can consciously conduct a complicated, multi-threaded design process, also of an interdisciplinary nature;
K_U07 The graduate is able to consciously use the skills of the workshop enabling creative and effective carrying out the design process and clear development of the presentation of the project using traditional techniques and computer techniques at a high, professional level;

K_W03 The graduate knows and understands the extended scope of issues related to implementation techniques, materials science, and other specialist issues relevant to interior design, appropriate for the chosen specialty

Description of the requirements for the studio, workshop or teaching aids

Projector configured to work with a lecturer's computer (initial lecture only). Tables for working on drawings and models. The ability to recharge own tablets and laptops by students.

The weekly number of hours of classes or lectures, the number of ECTS points assigned to the subject and information on the form and completion of the subject are included in the study program and Course Cataloque (information is displayed in Akademus system)
